Amazingly Unique Language, Captured by Book to Shape Thinking and Destiny

401 Vincy Caribbean Proverbs by Nigel A. Morgan

Morgans' Institute for Learning and Development (MILAD) announces the release of “401 Vincy Caribbean Proverbs”.

CARIBBEAN, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines — Nigel A. Morgan's “401 Vincy Caribbean Proverbs: Amazing Expressions to Guide You” captures the unique way of communicating inherited from past Vincentian generations, preserving that precious legacy for future generations to guide people in maximising their current lives and their future destiny.

“Teacher” Morgan grew up in Windward Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, where he has taught children and adults to translate the spoken language and written expressions into standard English. His immense experience and relationships guided him in writing the book, and to gather his data Morgan conducted research that took him to communities across St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

“The book's insightfulness gives us a deeper sense of who we are as humans. It highlights and challenges global ignorance, injustice, oppression, corruption, immorality and hate. It offers hope again for people to love, care, serve and help each other to fulfil our destiny,” says “Teacher” Morgan.

An excerpt from the book — Proverb: “Yo tink me lef me mout' — 'een ah me mooma?” English: “You think I've left my mouth in my mother's womb?” Meaning: I'm not afraid to take a stand and defend myself verbally. Usage: “Miss, yo tink me lef me mout' — 'een ah me mooma?”
